Can't upgrade Firmware

Please note that there are several people who have been
unable to do updates on their AD-L528 machines

If you haven't already done so please try using
the upgrade procedure here using the ISO images
.

If you are still stuck on the same firmware then you probably fall
into that category of owners that have the latest version of machine

If you are still stuck then please fill in the survey here if you haven't already done so.

If you are a bit of an experimenter then you may find the following info useful.

(If U4 is a Tiny12,U5 is a CS98010 and the DVD loader is a DP026D
then the player probably won't upgrade so contact a service centre)

Failing that contact a service centre and attempt to get player replaced under warranty

If trying your own drives it is best to power on the unit with the upgrade-cd already inserted
This is because some drives confuse the AD-L528 as to the state of the trays status
i.e. open or closed.

Prior to generating the Nero ISO firmware fix this was the situation

I suspect the slower CD-ROM drives will work - 12 speed or slower
i.e. the ones that don't sound like there about to take off when starting
