As of approx May 2002 the CS98010 from Cirrus Logic is used to power the AD-L 528.

The LS528/CS98010 has 128Pins the other chips in the 98K family have 208 pins

Unable to obtain a Datasheet so far for the CS98010
but it is similar to one of the following.
CS98000 but this has 2 RISC procesors
CS98100 but this has progressive scan and triple
10 bit video DAC so no need for CS4955

Please also note that the heatsink on U5 (At least on my player anyway)
is fixed on using a poor sticky glue
so it can be pulled off and stuck on again without a problem.
